No one can keep you down unless you allow them. No one can limit your beliefs in yourself unless you give them permission. And no one can keep you from pursuing your dreams and walking into your destiny without you believing their lies that you are not good enough, smart enough or talented enough. These are things that I think about and constantly remind myself of daily. The further I journey along in this windy road called entrepreneurship, the more frequent and loud these thoughts of negativity and doubt try to set up camp in my mind. Amazingly enough, what I have found is that each day you press on, each day you keep standing even when you get knocked down that your faith in yourself, your determination to reach your goals and your perseverance to pursue your purpose is strengthened and your faith is more deeply rooted. I know this because this is my current reality.
This past week I just came back from a trip to Miami, FL where I attended a conference for Entrepreneur Magazine. I still can not believe that against all odds that I made it to this conference. I truly believe that I am being guided every step of the way through out this journey. The same is true for you. I believe that as individuals when we make the decision to step out on faith and as John Maxwell says, "Put Your Dreams To The Test" that we will achieve that which we seek if we will only work hard, persevere against all odds and believe.
This conference was amazing! From the speakers such as Barbara Corcoran from, the TV show, Shark Tank who was the Keynote speaker. Having a chance to meet and connect with the online editor from Entrepreneur Magazine, seeing the recipients of the Entrepreneur of the Year awards and just being able to hang out with my best friend for 4 days was priceless.
Never stop believing and you will never stop achieving!
